Meet the Team

Carey Penn
Founder and director of EAS, Carey is a qualified electrician with a diploma in maintenance and reliability.
Outside of work you can find him mountain biking or with wife Gemma and their three children.

Andrew Dorrian
Andrew joined the team in November 2018, coming to us with 20 years experience. Andrew is not only a qualified electrician but also an electrical inspector.
After hours Andrew likes to spend time with his wife and two children. He is an avid surfer, and also loves to fish, water ski and snowboard.

Jayden Richardson
Jayden has moved up through the ranks to become our estimator after joining EAS as a third year apprentice.
In his spare time Jayden enjoys travelling and getting outdoors to enjoy mountain biking and hiking with his fiancee.

Michael Knight
Michael is a defence force trained electrician who has had the opportunity to utilise his skills around the world including in Afghanistan, the South Pacific and Antarctica.
Michael shares EAS‘ passion for delivering quality solutions on time; as well as the teams’ love of outdoor activities including mountain biking and spear fishing.

Ryland Hayes
Ryland joined EAS after completing his electrical apprenticeship at Fonterra Hautapu.
His favourite part of his job is creating quality solutions to electrical problems and completing his work to a high standard that he can be proud of.
In his spare time Ryland enjoys skateboarding, snowboarding.

Laban Karauti-Turner
Laban joined the team in 2018 and is now in his a second year of his apprenticeship. His prior experience with fibre installations has seen him hit the ground running.
Recently married, Laban enjoys spending his weekends with his wife and their two children.

Levi Crook

Steve Greer
Contracting to EAS, Steve is a qualified electrician specialising in commercial and industrial work. He has worked in a variety of environments across New Zealand, Australia and Nauru.
When he is not busy maintaining his lifestyle block or spending time with his wife and daughter, Steve loves to mountain bike.

Jason Collins
Based in Rotorua, Jason is a contractor with over 30 years experience, and has focused mainly on the industrial sector. He holds a particular interest in automation in industrial applications.
With 3 adult children, Jason and his wife like to spend their free time gardening and renovating their house.
